Erin Warrenburg-Felt is a Certified Nurse Midwife at the Saltzer Health North Nampa clinic.
Before joining Saltzer Health in October 2020, she worked as a RN for nine years, both in the ICU and labor and delivery. She worked in the transplant ICU at Indiana University Health and then in the surgical ICU at New York Presbyterian Hospital. As a labor and delivery RN, she worked at Indiana University Health where she was a member of their OB life flight team. She then worked at St. Luke’s Nampa since its opening, starting as a travel RN and then coming on as a St. Luke’s employee.
Erin earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing at the Indiana University School of Nursing, graduating in 2011. She completed her master’s degree as a Certified Nurse Midwife at the University of Cincinnati in Ohio, graduating in 2020.
Erin was honored with a Daisy Award nomination in 2011, a recognition program for outstanding services as a nurse.
As a midwife, Erin strongly believes in the empowerment of women and their families as partners in their health care. She advocates for the promotion and recognition of pregnancy and birth as normal physiologic processes. She also believes in the power of the collaborative care model in providing the best possible outcomes for women. A driving force behind her becoming a midwife was to offer continuity of care to clients. She is excited to continue to care for the women of our community, from puberty to menopause and throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period.
In her free time she enjoys spending time running, hiking, and baking. She and her husband have a cat and a dog.
