Boise Rescue Mission Ministries Recovery Lodge

June 6, 2019 4:25 pm | Published by

Imagine how difficult it would be to be discharged “home” from the hospital… when you don’t have a home. With the opening of the Recovery lodge in Nampa, the Mission will provide 14 rooms to care for up to 45 homeless medical patients who need a place to recover and heal.

This lodge will decrease the dependence of homeless patients on costly hospital care, connect them to a medical home and provide the healing and hope they need to get back on track physically in their lives.

The cost to purchase, renovate, and furnish the building is $767,050, and first-year operating expenses are projected to be $326,478. The need for this specialized facility is urgent, as the Rescue Mission is currently housing more than 30 people in our shelters who would greatly benefit from the environment and services offered by the Recovery Lodge.

Please join Saltzer Health and BVA Development in support of the new Boise Rescue Mission Ministries Recovery Lodge for homeless patients discharged from local hospitals.

Donations are accepted online.
