Nicole “Nikki” Rota is a certified physician assistant who provides care at Saltzer Health’s Boise sleep clinic where she diagnoses and treats adult and pediatric patients with sleep-related disorders, including narcolepsy, insomnia, hypersomnia, limb movement disorder and sleep disordered breathing.  She has been working in sleep medicine since 2016.

Most recently, Nikki was a physician assistant at St. Luke’s McCall Payette Lakes Medical Center where she provided full-scope family medicine as part of a medical team, including diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive health care.

From 2016-2019, Nikki worked at Saltzer Health’s South Nampa sleep clinic. 

Previously, she served as a physician assistant at Cascade Medical Center in Cascade and Family Medicine Residency of Idaho in Boise, and as a paramedic with Ada County EMS.

Nikki graduated from the MEDEX Northwest Physician Assistant Program at the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle.  She earned a bachelor’s degree in health sciences from the University of Washington, completed the paramedic sciences program at Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland.

In her free time, Nikki enjoys the outdoors. She is ski/bike Patrol at Tamarack Ski Resort and a board member at Kelly’s Whitewater Park in Cascade.
