Saltzer Health COVID-19 Vaccine Update

The COVID-19 vaccine is available by appointment at our 5 urgent care clinics in East Boise, Ten Mile & I-84, South Meridian, Caldwell and North Nampa.

We welcome appointments for patients age 18 and older. Due to limitations in the vaccine supply, Saltzer Health cannot provide vaccines for ages 16-17.

Idaho COVID-19 Vaccination Information

For more information, see the state’s Vaccinate Idaho webpage.

How much does the vaccine cost?

Nothing. Saltzer Health will bill a patient’s insurance for the administration of the vaccine to cover the costs of the medical professional and logistics of providing the vaccine. For uninsured patients, the cost is billed to the Health Resources and Services Administration’s Provider Relief Fund. The vaccine itself (the syringe contents) is funded by U.S. taxpayer dollars and will be provided at no cost to the person getting vaccinated.

Proof of Eligibility/Residency

Proof of eligibility/residency is required to schedule a COVID-19 vaccine appointment and receive a vaccine. To ensure a seamless, efficient process, bring these items with you for your appointment:

  • Driver’s license, utility bill or other documentation to demonstrate Idaho residency
  • Medical insurance card
  • If applicable, proof of employment (pay stub, business card, or employee badge)

When you arrive at your vaccine appointment, you will be scheduled for your 2nd dose (21 days Pfizer vaccine; 28 days Moderna).

Saltzer Health does not maintain a waiting list for the vaccine. Please check back for updates on available appointments.
