COVID-19 TESTING – APPOINTMENTS REQUIRED
Saltzer Health uses authorized tests that detect SARS-CoV-2 virus. Samples (such as nasal or oral swabs) are collected to determine whether an infection with SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, is present. The test takes 2-3 days to process.
We have limited point-of-care or “rapid test” capability. When available, these tests are prioritized for symptomatic healthcare workers or healthcare workers who have been in prolonged contact with known Covid-19 positive individuals.
Covid-19 rapid tests are currently in short supply and are unavailable to the general public.
HOW TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT
COVID-19 tests are available by appointment only at Saltzer Health urgent care clinics in Meridian, Caldwell and Nampa.
Caldwell, 512 E. Elm St, Caldwell, ID 83605 (near 10th & Logan). Open 8 am – 8 pm. Seven days a week.
To make an appointment at our Caldwell urgent care clinic, you must download the TrueCare4You app to your smartphone or tablet. To access the app, see www.truecare4you.com or use the QR code. If you have questions about the TrueCare4You app, please email firstname.lastname@example.org for assistance.
During your visit, you will be seen by one of our providers for a medical assessment. Your insurance company will be billed for this assessment and the lab test. If you do not have insurance or if the charges are denied, you will be asked to pay for the cost of both the assessment and the lab test. Please let us know if you are uninsured or may have difficulty paying and we will work with you on payment options.
Test results will be posted to our secure, online patient portal.
MASKS ARE REQUIRED IN OUR CLINICS
To protect the health of patients and staff, all urgent care visitors are required to wear a mask. A mask will be provided to those who do not have one.
