COVID-19 Testing Information

COVID-19 testing is available on a walk-in basis at our seven Urgent Care locations. The type of testing and turnaround time of results are dependent on the availability of each test method. PCR test results are expected to be available in 48-72 hours but can take up to 5 days.

Rapid testing is available depending on supply.

MEDICAL ASSESSMENT

During your visit, you will be seen by one of our providers for a medical assessment. Your insurance company will be billed for this assessment and the lab test. If you do not have insurance or if the charges are denied, you will be asked to pay for the cost of both the assessment and the lab test. Please let us know if you are uninsured or may have difficulty paying and we will work with you on payment options.

Test results will be posted to our secure, online patient portal.

Saltzer Health offers COVID-19 vaccinations for all specified groups of people recommended by the CDC.

COVID-19 Booster

The Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) recommends a booster shot of COVID-19 vaccines in certain populations.

The Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) authorization and CDC’s recommendation for use are important steps forward as we work to stay ahead of the virus and keep Americans safe.

For those within eligible groups, COVID-19 boosters are available on a walk-in basis at the seven Saltzer Health urgent cares, including the 24-hour clinic at Ten Mile, 867 S. Vanguard Way off Ten Mile & I-84 in Meridian.

Saltzer Health does not currently stock the Johnson and Johnson vaccine.
